Clare is Constitutional Accountability Center’s inaugural Douglas T. Kendall Fellow.
Prior to joining CAC, Clare served as a law clerk to Judge Peter J. Messitte on the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She graduated in 2018 from Stanford Law School with the school’s highest pro bono distinction. During law school, Clare worked on several direct representation and impact litigation initiatives including successful individual challenges, based on the Fourteenth Amendment, to California’s use of money bail.
Before she was a lawyer, Clare worked in management consulting to help companies streamline their training, communication, workforce culture, and regulatory compliance processes. Clare has a B.A. in Philosophy from Claremont McKenna College.
