Dayna is an Appellate Counsel at the Constitutional Accountability Center. Before joining CAC, Dayna worked as an attorney in the Appellate Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, where she wrote briefs and argued cases in federal courts of appeals to uphold civil and constitutional rights. Dayna also served as a law clerk for Judge Andre M. Davis on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and for Judge Legrome D. Davis on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Dayna graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Cornell University.
