Jazmine Steele is Deputy Director of Communications at the Constitutional Accountability Center. She started her career as an arts and culture reporter for The Michigan Citizen Newspaper in Detroit, Michigan. She has built her career at the intersection of media and social justice— having served as Press Coordinator for faith-based advocacy group Sojourners and Communications Assistant for the State of Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
Jazmine is a 2016 graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary where she received a Master’s of Divinity while completing a specialized ministry tack as an urban fellow. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism and minor in Public Relations from Grand Valley State University.
