CAC’s litigation program advances a progressive understanding of the Constitution’s text and history by regularly filing amicus briefs that rely on constitutional text and history at all levels of the federal court system and in state supreme courts. CAC also files amicus briefs in statutory cases that rely on legislative text, history, and purpose. Our clients include current and former bipartisan Members of Congress, state and local officials, law professors, and various nonprofit organizations. CAC’s efforts help to secure important legal victories in the Supreme Court, lower federal courts, and state supreme courts.View All Cases View Current Cases
