Patriotic philanthropist David Rubenstein, NEH Chairman William “Bro” Adams, Chief Judge Theodore A. McKee, and leading Reconstruction scholars Sidney Blumenthal, Allen C. Guelzo, and Lucas Morel, appeared  at the Center on February 12, 2015  – the birthday of President Lincoln.

Video remarks made by the Honorable Sandra Day O’Connor opened the event and an exclusive sneak peek of an original copy of the 13th Amendment was provided.

This program is presented in partnership with the Constitutional Accountability Center. Lincoln’s Legacy and exhibition on the 13th Amendment was made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities: Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence.
