Sixth Annual Home Stretch at the Supreme Court
The day after the Supreme Court concluded its oral arguments for the 2018-19 Term, CAC hosted a panel of experts at the National Press Club, moderated by MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent and NBC News Legal Analyst Ari Melber, to discuss key cases and pressing legal issues that have emerged this Term. Panelists included Kristen Clarke, President & Executive Director of the National Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law; William M. Jay, a partner at Goodwin Procter LLP; Allison Riggs, Senior Voting Rights Attorney at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice; and CAC Chief Counsel Brianne Gorod. Before the panel discussion, CAC President Elizabeth B. Wydra provided opening remarks on key themes of the Term so far.
