Carson Eckhard
Carson is a legal intern at the Constitutional Accountability Center.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Carson is a JD-PhD student in American History at Stanford, where she is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and Samvid Scholar. At Stanford Law School, Carson is a member of the Workers’ Rights and Housing Pro Bono projects. She is also a member of the Stanford Law Review.
Carson earned a BA with honors in History and English from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds an MSc in Economic and Social History at the University of Edinburgh, where she was a Marshall Scholar. Before graduate school, Carson worked at the Liberation Foundation, a Philadelphia-based reentry and wrongful conviction organization founded by exoneree Terrance Lewis. She is also the Youth Director at Vote That Jawn, a Philadelphia voting rights initiative for young people and first-time voters.
