Harith Khawaja

Legal Fellow

Harith Khawaja is a sponsored legal fellow at the Constitutional Accountability Center.

Harith graduated from Stanford Law School in 2025, where he was a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and student attorney in the Supreme Court Litigation and Immigrants’ Rights Clinics. At Stanford, Harith was a Public Interest Fellow, a member of the First-Generation & Low-Income Professionals Association, and an articles editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. Harith also worked as a summer intern at the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection and the Constitutional Accountability Center, where he assisted with statutory and constitutional litigation across a range of civil and criminal rights issues.

Before law school, Harith worked for three years as a software engineer at Lyft. He received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College in 2019, where he also played on the squash team.
